NYU Graduate Program
The Alpine Fellowship and NYU are partnering to give two NYU Graduate students per year the unique possibility to get help towards tuition, and to attend the annual Alpine Fellowship symposium. The ideal students “seek to explore the connections across and between humanistic fields of study, build bridges across fields of study in the humanities, and creatively synthesize the arts, literature, philosophy, and other humanistic fields of inquiry.”
The fellowship is open to any current graduate student at GSAS or Tisch. Selected students must still be matriculated at the time of the consortium. Strong candidates would include those whose work strives to build bridges across disparate fields of study in the humanities, while creatively synthesizing the arts, literature, philosophy, and other humanistic fields of inquiry.
Applicants must submit a CV, letter of support, personal statement (single-spaced, 2-3 pages), and NYU transcript. The personal statement should speak to this year’s theme, explaining why and how you think you would be a contribution to this gathering. Students and reference writers must submit the relevent documents via email to firstname.lastname@example.org by February 14 at 11:59 pm EST.
